How to check the connector quality

First, manufacturer test connector

First of all, we understand the following basic appearance standards for good connectors. Connectors are composed of terminal rubber shell and pin holder, which are divided into pre-assembly and post-assembly testing:

Detection before assembly: lack of material, raw edge, shrinkage, deformation, color difference, dirt, plugging, indentation, baffle plate uneven/deformation, card point warping, sag/deviation or fracture, PIN mark wrong/no PIN mark

Detection after assembly: whether there is a gap between the copper/iron shell and the rubber shell, the deformation of the iron/copper shell, the buckle is not pressed in place/biased, the rubber shell is crushed, the left and right hooks are not installed in place (the exposed size of the hooks at both ends is inconsistent), press the hooks several times by hand to confirm whether the left and right hooks are normal and elastic

Others look fine on the outside, but are broken on the inside. Experienced people can touch, smell and see directly to determine the connector is good or bad.

1 touch, with the hand feel connector production is not fine, if the surface has obvious rough feeling, life is not guaranteed, there is a huge difference in safety and quality products.

  1. Smell, some manufacturers will add fragrance to cover up the taste of inferior materials, so it is necessary to think more carefully when encountering scented products.
  2. Look, if you see connectors and sockets severely oxidized on the metal surface, basically close to the degree of gray color, these are quality problems, will affect the quality of welding. Generally unused connectors do not appear oxidized or damaged in appearance.
